About Michael Janzen
Michael Janzen is a distinctive international artist who was born in Toronto, Canada. His passionate, creative, spirited power and sensitive touch, is reflected in all that he does. A.J. Casson, member of the Group of Seven who mentored him, stated that Janzen was the new generation. His work was given to Saint John Paul II as part of an Ontario Provincial Government gift. Janzen has represented Canada in numerous museum exhibitions in Canada, Brazil, France and China. He is an artist interested in cultural dialogues, collaborations and new expressions of art. These communications progressively move us forward to a global harmony, with heart and mind, by ways of creative, expressive and constructive actions.
